ROSE COUNTRY LABRADOODLES GUARANTEE AND PET ADOPTION CONTRACT




This contract is made this______day of_______________, 2019 and is between Ashlea Cummerford (hereinafter called the “Seller” and_____________________________(hereinafter called the “Buyer”) Puppy identification/microchip #:________________________________ Date of Whelp:_____________________Sex:___Color:________________________           Sire Name:_________________________ Dam Name:_________________________



This dog is sold as a pet only and cannot be bred under this contract.


IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED by the Seller and the Buyer, that the following conditions will be met and that no other warranties or representations are expressed or implied.


The Seller guarantees the puppy is in good health, is up-to-date on immunizations appropriate for the puppy’s age and has had appropriate wormings at the time the Buyer takes possession.


The Seller hereby provides a TWO (2) year health guarantee from the date of purchase of the puppy against any debilitating congenital defect up to the purchase price of the puppy. Any condition that is minor, correctable, or a breed related minor condition will not be covered under this guarantee. This warranty does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, hypoglycemia, worms, giardia or coccidiosis. It also does not include any illness due to the ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals or physical injury.


Within Two (2) years of the date of the purchase should the puppy be found in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to a genetic defect, which would hinder the puppy from being a good pet:


  1. The Seller must be notified first of symptoms and before puppy is taken to a licensed

           veterinarian.


     2. The Seller must be provided with a written assessment and diagnosis from the Buyer’s

           licensed veterinarian with his or her contact information outlining the medical findings.


     3. The puppy may be returned to the Seller for refund of the purchase price or for a

           replacement puppy from the next available litter of equal value, the choice to be

           determined by Seller.


     4. The Buyer must return the puppy and all relevant paperwork to the Seller at the Buyer’s  

           expense within 1 week of the examination date. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and

           if it is necessary to ship a replacement puppy, those fees are to be paid by the Buyer.


     5. If the Buyer refuses to return the puppy then this health guarantee is null and void.


The Seller reserves the right to have the puppy re-examined by the Seller’s licensed veterinarian at the Seller’s cost.



                                                  Buyer’s Responsibility



  1. The Buyer agrees that their dog will be housed indoors.

  2. The Buyer agrees to feed their dog only premium quality food.

  3. The Buyer agrees to maintain their dog at a healthy weight.

  4. The Buyer agrees to make and keep annual veterinary appointments for their dog and keep all immunizations current and administer heartworm preventative.

  5. The Buyer should use reasonable judgement with their new puppy. Puppies should not be brought to a public place (i.e.) pet store or park) until they have completed their fully cycle of vaccination due to risk of contagious diseases. This warranty is void if this condition is not met.

  6. The Buyer agrees to postpone strenuous, repetitive exercise until after the puppy is over 1 year of age.

  7. Spay and Neuter: Breeder requires the puppy to be spayed/neutered by 6 months of age, at the owner’s expense. Proof of spay/neuter must be provided by a certified veterinary hospital, on paper, showing the pets description, breed and microchip number. If proof is not received, Seller’s health guarantee will be void. As well the Seller may reclaim the dog without compensation to the Buyer and/or a (6500.00) breeding dog fee will be charged. This amount is based on the average breeding dog fee of 9000.00 minus the puppy price already paid of 2750.00 + gst. If necessary, legal action will be taken to collect damages and Buyer will be responsible for all legal fees.
